Children’s Book “Little Things”

Little Things is a picture book that tells a simple yet powerful story about how quickly small, unattended matters can grow out of proportion. Through subtle imagery and narrative, the book invites readers to reflect on the importance of awareness, care, and responsibility – both in our surroundings and within ourselves.

This book was created as part of “NATURE”, a picture book series developed by students of the Printmaking Department at the Art Academy of Latvia. The series explores the theme of nature from diverse perspectives, highlighting its many roles in our everyday lives. Each contribution offers a unique visual and conceptual take on our relationship with the natural world.

Little Things was exclusively available at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, where all printed copies were sold, making it a limited-edition publication shared with an international audience of readers and professionals in children’s publishing.
