My name is Aija Pastare, and I am a multidisciplinary artist specializing in fine art, layout design, and web development. As an active member of the “Brīvās mākslas kustība” (Free Art Movement), I contribute as the chairperson of the board, event coordinator, and content creator, helping to foster a vibrant community for creative expression.

I hold a degree in printmaking from the Art Academy of Latvia, where I developed a strong foundation in traditional techniques alongside contemporary artistic practices. My work spans various media and collaborations, reflecting a deep passion for both individual creativity and collective projects.

Festival KŅADA (2019)
“Kņada” is a platform that invites specialists, enthusiasts, and hobbyists from various fields to share their knowledge, skills, and joy that comes from these activities. “Kņada” stands for the creation of new and progressive ideas, and their application, as well as protection of traditional values. It is an opportunity to experience art, sports, poetry, theater, economics and accountancy, and politics and religion in a simple participate-or-watch way.
